corroded alloys :(

    so, i got my alloys refurbed today. matte black.
    was quoted £220 over the phone, but kind lady at reception wrote £200 on the receipt.
    so in the end = £50/wheel.

    looks decent. on first inspection, i couldn't spot any glaring imperfections. so definitely worth the £50/wheel it cost. they even changed/coated the air valve caps to black to match the rims.
    i asked them not to replace the hub caps as these also had been damaged by the tyre fitter.

    Looks more suited to a Corsa SXi than a nice Estoril Blue 4 Series :p

    Matte black looked nice hanging on the display wall. In hindsight should've got the gloss black...live and learn. Still, doesn't look that bad in the flesh...so not gonna change it anytime soon lol
