Hi, about a month ago my hard drive died from corruption, so i bought another from a different shop. 160GB seagate.
this has now gone corrupt. my sister knocked the keyboard tray onto the computer while playing a game, the game then began jumping. The game required no disc so it was not the dvd drive.
would the knock have caused the drive to corrupt/ physical damage inside or could another component be the cause for both drive corruptions? need a new drive asap as i have coursework to be finished.
so what to do? would an overclocked cpu be the cause? i have a E6300 @ 2.8Ghz. or the motherboard GA-P35-DS3R rev 1
