You are referring to the twinport models, they have about 5bhp extra over the normal ones. its a multi point injection system.

Having driven one for the past year, it does not pull in 5th. or 4th. And only in 3rd at above 3500rpm

The only thing Fox would be 'shocked' at would be just how small the corsa was in his rear view mirror

No hes quite right, ive beaten my dads Omega, and a 206 CC, its partly down as I have already said, to how you drive it.
Not been able to beat my sisters VTR yet though :D

HAHAH it was being driven by my mum at the time, so I think that gave me a bit of an advantage. ;)
 
Back in the real world, the 1.2 SXi cannot be described as anything other than slow, races with stationary cars notwithstanding.

if you look at the paper stats, I think its actually one of the fastest 1.2s (fast in relative terms obviously)

Just a shame we cant go everywhere in straight lines!

Had a couple of rides in a mates 1litre Corsa (53plate) which has the three cylinder engine? The ride was more crashy than my Integra, leaned a fair bit and the engine had two modes, noise and more noise with no noticeable increase in speed...

THATS the point im trying to make. Ive had mine for nearly 5 years now, I know how to drive it and I know what I can get out of it.
