** CORSAIR 900D - IN STOCK AND SHIPPING NOW!!! **

My 900D just arrived - holy mole this case is HUGE! Very nice looking case too, I'm looking forward to seeing it up and running with all my components in.

pics of you next to the case

*you must look like a member of the cast from the inbetweeners.

Got mine today. It's big, but not any bigger than expected really (I looked at the dimension before I bought it).
Just need to wait for Intel and AMD/Nvidia to release some new hardware to go in it now!

They pretty much have just released new hardware - Haswell processors and the GTX-700 series graphics cards!

Just opened the 900d no gromits on those top 2 holes as others.
Tried using 800d gromits and they fit but its a very tight fit!( see pic ) Have 9 spare if anyone wants them your welcome :)

Damnit its out now .....

Bit of a fail on Corsairs' part - these should have been included for the price.
Luckily I am quite happy with my Caselabs SM8 so don't need them.

Enjoy your new case.

Morning Chippy08 :)
Your welcome to 2 of them another 2 have been called for if you still want them drop your post details via trust and will post em out later today :)

900D owners; I was just wondering about your opinion on the noise that the stock fans make. I tested them out hooked up to my PSU (jump started as i have no board to test with) and they make quite a fair amount of noise with some slight vibrations on the 140mm.

Has anyone got round to testing them, and if any of you have fan speed reducers, could you tell me if they are still quite audible?

I'm wondering weather it's worth it to keep them installed, or replace them with AF quiet editions.

Evening Alasdair, am just sat pottering with mine mobo is in am not doing the full on wc yet so will be lobbing in an intel cooler and just using the front 3 fans on air for now. Its one of the thinks I am curious about though they will be replaced if necessary a voltage reduction cable or fan controller should calm them.
Will let you know as soon as I hook em up, which at the rate I work at should be around midnight :o

I've been thinking about my 900D and what setup I'm going with.
As I believe it's supposed to be for air cooling as well as water, what setup would people use? It seems to me there are loads more fans best suited as exhaust fans than ones for intake, meaning negative air pressure and a rather dusty case.

Obviously this is intended as a WC case but is a decent air setup viable or is it another 800D? (which I believe were average at best for air cooling)

I had to double check the fans, as i previously calculated that there would be positive pressure, but you are right.
Athough, remember that the power supply will be in the way of some of the fan mounts in the basement, so knock off 2 exhausts there and you have around a neutral pressure. (140 out/120 in) you don't have to add fans everywhere though.

Ah, i remember why i calculated negative pressure :D I'm not going to use any fans at the back of the case, and i can't use the bottom front 120mm fan, so that leaves 6 intakes and 5 outtakes. ;)

I wasn't really counting any of the bottom fans as that compartment seems sorta isolated as far as general airflow goes. Could help with pressure though I guess.
