** CORSAIR H2100 DOLBY 7.1 WIRELESS GAMING HEADSET 'REFURB' - ONLY £44.99

That's fair enough and I only pointed it out as I thought you guys say you will try and match prices/be competitive. :)

appreciate you pointing it out. like i say, we will run with the price for a bit but i can see corsair being upset about us and them being that low.

Can anyone comment on how well these hold charge when not used for a while - I don't game with a headset that often - but don't want to have to charge it every time I get to use it. Are the cells in this similar to the low self discharge rechargeable batteries in that they don't go flat quickly when not used.

No it needs USB port and software drivers to operate you would need a PC connected to your TV.

Okay then.
I have a blu ray, rasberry pi and pc id want to connect these to. Is there anyway to use the hdmi cables or something to get audio? Like connect them all to a box with a pass through usb audio

That's super tempting. I have HyperX Cloud II Gaming headset at the moment. Will this be any better?

I have ordered both. For a wireless headset at £40 i dont see how you can go wrong. From the research i have done though these will not sound better than the Cloud's II.

No. Don't forget the sound being produced is from the actual "sound card" in the USB dongle. It needs the software on the PC to drive it. Its not being passed through anything. Thats why they are so cheap.

True I dont even think they sound as good as the Plantronic 780 but the wireless option makes it worthwhile. Just like I said earlier be wary of the poor Corsair software.

(should really put these 3 in one post, sorry for being lazy)

you lift the mic boom to mute :D
I had the v2100 (blue ones) these are very comfy and done me for over 18 months and there still working now.
There well worth the £40.
