** CORSAIR REFURB COOLERS - MEGA DEALS - 1 YEAR WARRANTY AT OCUK **

What air cooler was you useing I think your be very happy with the temps I brought 1 last year for my media box it's still going strong can't go wrong for 40 pounds

Been using a alpenfohn matterhorn pure edition, installed my h100 today got ridiculous high temps so reseated it and its drop to around 22degrees on idle temps 9 been the lowest recorded and 32 been the highest which was when i was loading up a few programs had a quick run on dirt 3 temps didnt reach over 36 so seems okay so far will have a proper test later on

Right then, I'm pressing the profile button and the lights go up a step but the fan still stays at the same speed.

All fans connected to the H100
Connected to SATA cable to give power
H100 connected to FAN1 on motherboard header.

Any idea what the issue is or are they meant to remain silent? I did connect my AP15's to it instead. Fan temps aren't much different to my previous H60 which I removed to install this.

Edit - Mine does not do this:

You can hear the change in fan speed very clearly.

Edit again -

I tried this reset method and it still behaves the same

I thought it only changed the pump speed
You could get a mod my toys fan spilter and run the fans off that cost around 5 pounds then you can run them at full or 5v or nzxt fan hub

Hi all,
I'm looking on doing a new build with an i7 devils canyon and one of these Corsair AIO... my concern though is that OCUK have so many refurbs in stock; are these H100/H100i prone to breaking / leaking or something? I couldn't find any recent posts that mention issues other than people having trouble fitting them, and Google only brings up results for issues on the older H80 models from earlier years.
Also, does anyone know what the warrenty covers (new and refurb)- just the AOI itself or damage to other components if it leaked? Would OCUK replace whatever is not covered by Corsair?
I can see Watercooling is the way to go, but custom build loop is not for me, AOI is my prefered choice over fans, but I don't fancy spending £1.3k on a new build to have to replace everything on the mobo down the line if this thing fails.
Any guidance / reassurance would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance!

After having no response from ocuk my h100 after raising a ticket with corsair was confirmed as having a broken integrated fan controller. I don't know what ocuks stance is but sending my aio cooler back to netherlands will probably cost a fair bit.

Ive connected the fans to the lamptron controller and can control them from there.

You could/should try and claim the postage money back, seeing as it clearly doesn't work how it is supposed to

I found this thread on corsair's forum regarding a chap who had a H100i leak and kill two high end graphic cards. Corsair had the unit & graphic cards replaced in a few weeks. I'd say this is a pretty decent testament to the support offered by corsair :)

If you have a ticket # from us, send it to me and I'll take a look. I can give RMA a little nudge to process your RMA a bit quicker.

Leak cases are very rare, but if it happens, we'll make sure that you are well taken care of.

Just installed my referb H100i and got to say, really impressed. Looks brand new and is so quiet (Apache Black fans). :)

Bit of info for anyone wondering about the fan splitter cable, they have a cap fitted to protect the pins. (Got to redo my fans to get Corsair Link working.) :o :p

Must admit that had me going when I got my refurb'd H100i. As Freddie says, it looks like new and runs very quiet once the initial burst of max rpm has calmed down. The pump is much quieter than my old H50. I have not yet connected the usb link, the stock hydro fans are certainly noisy at full whack but they do shift a lot of air.
