If you're getting Vista64, then why not go for the 4GB of RAM? After all, it's far easier to stroke the old e-peen with 4GB than 2 you know!
i like the way i mentioned that i bought a mobo and hdd's etc etc in my first post.im getting 64bit as i already have 2gb.
as far as a willy waving competition, think on, its nothing of the sort, in fact, i didnt even think of it like that till now
I was thinking to myself only the other day that what I'm spending on flying lessons every month amounts to around half the cost of the finance payment on a Ferrari F430. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt what gives me more enjoyment though
im not sure why i didnt think of this before but im only realising that i could have bought a 2nd hand car of my own with the amount of money that i spent on my pc the last few days. i already have free access to a car when i require it so thats maybe why i didnt think twice.
ive spent a total of £1100+ on the following items in less than 7 days!
Q6600
Tuniq Tower 120
2GB Geil 6400 ULL
BFG 8800GTX OC2
OCZ 780w ModXstream PSU
Dell 2407 WFP
soon to buy vista prem 64 bit
have i too much money or just lacking in brain cells.
has anyone else done this before and then realised afterwards
I had read it all actually, I still think my response was valid.do i sense a hint of sarcasim?
looks like you didnt read the thread from the top down.

I don't care if you just spent £1100 on PC stuff, just because you give a comparison that you could have bought a car, then proceed to tell everyone you didn't want a car anyway doesn't change my view. You blatently just wanted everyone to know how much you've just spent on your PC.
I went to Vegas and managed to spend a grand in 4 days, got back thinking I could have really used that money for some stuff, like a new computer that I desperately needed so had to get a sodding credit card.
