Could I do better?

Try pushing up to the 7770 with the Cele.

1155's dead too, although has much better CPU potential than FM2.

1150 Cele's are due this quarter, I'd maybe wait/save a little.

The APUs are good if you want a cheap system which is for console style gaming - it's great for 720p especially. If you're going to put a better graphics card in or want decent 1080p performance, I'd always go for an FX-6300 system instead (unless it's only for old games).

whats wrong with socket 1155? you can still upgrade to sandy/ivy i3/i5/i7 later on

not 100% sure with ivy compatibility on that board but can't see why not

haswell will be more money

Nout's wrong with 1155, it's still a dead platform though.

Ivy will work with every consumer chipset board as far as I'm aware, I've put it in H61's to Z77's.

If you get a celeron you're going to get dire performance in a lot of recent games. Even if frame rates are ok, latencies will be terrible. And an i3 is a lot of money to spend only to throw away on an i5 upgrade later.

The 4100 is a bit of a crappy CPU, but it'll do better than a celeron in games wanting quad core, and it's probably just as good as an A8/A10 APU.

So could you guys recoomend a pc for me? Because alt of different cpus etc Im very confused about. I could maybe push 350 pounds but if its 400 pounds please still share it. Thanks again

Well I am going off conslles completly mayybe fifa 14 etc? Not cod I know I couldnt handle that. just enough to play some good games

FX4100 and 7770 with COD would be fine lol.

I'd still say 1155/1150 if only to upgrade the cele to a second hand i5 as they're like ~100 quid these days.

But FX4100 at 50 quid is hard to argue with, even though it isn't exactly great, but it's decent enough.
