Counter offered, don't know what to do! HELP!

Its not too late to change your mind, if that is what you want to do.

However having read your post, why would you accept an offer of nothing but promises from a company already flakey on delivering what they've promised?

This.

The grass is greener on this occasion so go with company B.

Is it really? No business I have worked for has ever forced anyone out when they have handed their notice in, they have all worked their 4-6 weeks notice period.

Going on holiday is a fantastic call, means you won't need to use any leave time in your new role for a while, also you start your new job with a great icebreaker to your new colleagues.

Gardening leave is completely normal.

I'd check before going on holiday, though. Some places stipulate that you are 'available' throughout the gardening leave period.

It is for a lot of sales rolls and things like that where you could start poaching customers.

Made sure it was around May time I resigned so that I get 3 nice months of summer weather to enjoy whilst getting paid gardening leave.:D:D
