Is it too late to start playing this or does everyone know every inch of all the maps? I've only ever really played COD4 and COD:BO online but fancy having a go!

Not too late at all. You have a long road ahead of you though just as a warning.

Firstly getting your rank to 3, once you are at 3 you'll be able to play in the competitive part. That shouldn't take longer than 10 hours or so I guess.

The next is getting to rank 21, you'll then be able to link your phone for prime match making (a lot less cheaters)

That would be about 200hrs of gameplay

We do have the ocuk server which is good as we can all play together and rank means nothing. Would be usefull for you to join some games. We can all give hints and tips and give you the lowdown on maps etc.

Watch YouTube videos. I suggest warowl and 3kliksphillip they do some good guides.

Much as I hate to say it, if you played another FPS really well like COD then you could transfer some of that skill to csgo.

They introduce brand new maps every few months for a short while and also allow skill matched games on there. Now could be an ideal time to start

I have a gfinity account, be happy to join for some games.

Weird, with the problems I have been having there is about 12 different profiles atm. Can you take a screenshot and post here?

BTW I changed the map rotations so Infereno is now the 1st map

I can still see the dashboard in the background, but if I click return it takes me back to the homepage.

Yea, I didn't have any problems before. Could change the map etc., didn't get much chance to look around though. Once it's working again I'll have a better look when nobody is online.

Hi all, bit late to the pc gaming sub forum, but have been playing csgo for a while now. Have recently hit LEM and trying to hit supreme. Just signed up to ESEA and trying to get used to the skill level jump - most people in my first few games were supreme or global.

Would be good to play with some of you sometime.
