I fail to see how anyone doesn't have CS:Source. If you've bought HL2 or any modern (Past 4-5 years) steam game they practically throw it at you.
I think at one point Valve were PAYING PEOPLE to add it to their account ffs!

Nope, one of the main ways to buy HL2 over the past couple of years has been The Orange Box, which doesn't come with CS:S. Lost Coast gets thrown around like confetti, but not CS:S.

if you buy a pack (only valve games iirc, so Hl/hl2/portal/eps/cs:s) and you already own one of the games you can give it away.
Then of course there are the guest passes where the recipient can play the full game for 3 days.
they give em out every so often/when you buy one.
