I've played something similar before, it is great fun with a bunch of people you play regularly with, and everybody on comms.

I wouldn't have thought so. CSS is played at LANs more than 1.6, therefore one would assume CSS has a larger base of skilled competitive players.

To say that 1.6 > CSS or whatever is a bit naive in my opinion. They are both completely different games when you get into finer details.

Yeah was a silly thing to say tbh...

I just get fed up with the 1.6 "Eliteism"!

I have racked up a couple of thousand hours on both games, and both games I enjoy immensly.

I'm hoping that Global Offensive will unite the players - however we will see...
