Who plays CSS on their SSD? Whats your experience?

I notice i load into servers faster than anyone else (when map changes i'm first in)

But apart from that, i actually find it can be bad sometimes. It will cause quite bad fps drops and stuttering if i copy a file in the background (quite slowly (8- 15mb/s)).

Anyone else find this? Any settings for SSDs?
Can't find any info on internet!

Sorry, but it looks like your SSD is old and rubbish, Any decent SSD should thrive under multitasking.

Post the model details and an AS-SSD or CrystalDiskMark benchmark.

I was on a mates pc with same spec as me but had a 240gb SSD drive. I was amazed at games. Load speeds where mega fast in games like BC2, crysis, MOH, MW1,2 and fallout 3. But i think css is down to your connection speed, the game loaded instantly but joining servers was no different.

its a new ocz bigfoot 120gb. I think I'm gna test by moving games over to hdd again

switched to hdd and still got the stutter, hmm strange. cud be nvidia drivers, or my config in css.

i have a bigfoot, get some stutter in STALKER (any of the three) buit i'm on CoD Black Ops now and it's as smooth as butter, as was metro 2033.
