Coupe / Roadster, Insurance Group <13

i would not discount cars based on the quoted group, run a few quotes through and see the prices of cars you like. If the price discounts it then so be it, but discounting it before being aware of the cost is a little bit premature in my opinion.

~2400 with Nowrich Union for the Coupe
~2020 with Bell for the Mx-5

Im loving the look of this Hyundai in autotrader, im thinking since im quite a big guy the mazda would be too small... didnt really cross my mind, im 6"2 and around 13-14 stone, have a hard time fitting in my fiesta really comfortably :p

I'm surprised at the quote being higher for the Coupe. Ah well. I really wouldn't advise a RWD car with your experience anyway, so i'd say the Coupe is the better bet. That's an F2 Evo you have there, around 154 bhp rather than the standard 137ish.

Btw why do you think you need new alloys? I'll have those F2 Evo ones straight off you if you do get new ones ;)

The alloys on the bottom one are much nicer, the ones on the top might have to be changed :p (When im out of debt..)

And it is the F2 Evo i have the quote on, i take it (Sigh, going to sound like an eejit here) its FWD?

Ahah, just noticed your sig.

Your opinion on them? parkers says they have cheap interior? from the pictures ive seen it looks pretty damn good :o

It's not as solid as my mum's VW, but i definitely wouldn't call it cheap. Tbh the best thing to do is take a test drive or at least just have a poke round one.

Ok, another thing Serj - Any specific mileages i should look out for, i mean, is any major work needed at any certain mileages?

The first one i posted @ 68,000 Miles has over a year's MOT, which cant be a bad thing i guess

And i was talking about the suzuki for looks, not the Hyundai

Cam belt is 50k/5 yrs. Look out for rust on the sun roof. Another common thing is a cracked manifold; i think the only way to tell if it's cracked or not (without taking off the heatshielding anyway) is to give the engine a good sniff when it's running. Of course you'd need to know what smell you're looking for lol :o

Oh and btw don't expect to have one with a working clock. They pretty much all flicker on and off, they can be replaced but it costs around £100, is a complete PITA job and the new clock is just as likely to flicker on and off as the last one.

Head unit will work okay as a clock :p

Im tempted to go for a test drive tomorrow. Then treat myself to a christmas loan. Then buy it.

But i suck with cars, im crap when it comes to knowing what to look for - If you fancy taking a trip to wrexham, please do so xD
