Laibach are a brilliant band but this is likely the worst, but possibly funniest cover i've ever heard.



I can't think of a cover I prefer over the original - although the Depeche Mode remix album has some amazing remixes on that I prefer. Especially the more industrial sounding Strangelove

Cover versions what aren't rubbish

I hold the view, not unusual I imagine, that cover versions are the Devil's own foul brew.

But then, on thinking about it, I started to realise that I could name many which I give a pardon, and accept as good tunes.

Thought it might make an interesting thread, so here are a few of my suggestions to get the thread started.

 
This one you could almost consider a parody rather than a cover. But I think it manages to be amusing but also have something about it to be genuinely good to listen to.
