CPR W3 on Hairworks(Nvidia Game Works)-'the code of this feature cannot be optimized for AMD'

^^

Ooooh nice  Will watch that tomorrow, thanks! The thing I loved about crysis/cryengine back then were all of the extra missions/mods by the community, not only were they great fun but they looked even better than the main game

Will need to see a 4k video of crysis 3 at max too, that game is stunning looking!

Even in DX10 mode you could manually improve the graphics via editing the config files. Talking about Crysis3 - Crysis2 with mods also looks amazing. Some of the areas under the dome with the grass are pretty awesome in Crysis3 too.

Imagine if Crytek remade the first Crysis with CryEngine 3??

I do like the night sky though:

The shadows and lighting in foliage/indoor areas is very good though.

Check out Skyrim with some of the sky mods. They are amazing!!

I have run Crysis maxed @2160p, got very high fps

The one thing that never changes is the game is a terrible CPU bottleneck and should never be used to judge GPUs.

If you want a CPU benchmark then look no further than Crysis.:D

In only uses two cores, but when you have destroyable environments and other physics based effects done on the CPU,then no wonder.

Unfortunately NVidias GPUs are not very good these days but one must do their best with these limitations.:D

:D

Some of those transition sections look **** especially the transition from land to water and rocks to grass looks like something from a game 10 years old.

Yup! It is awful looking :(

Can't wait for next weeks patch.

Wow! Just googled search skyrim and sky and damn! I love a good looking sky, sunset, night sky :D

Yeah crysis 2 with mods is really nice looking too, some of the textures were/are awful though, remember the 2d bottles in the water lol....

I wish they would tbh and in some ways I wouldn't be surprised if they did re-release crysis 1/warhead using cryengine 3 or even make another tropical island based game, the last 2 games have been based in cities with a bit of a jungle type of area so it is time for the tropical paradise to come back :D

Nvida announced on the geforce forum that they found some issues with the witchers 3 and kepler cards and are working on it. They have not said though.
"
We discovered a couple of issues in regards to Kepler GPUs and are working on driver updates."

Yes apparently the issue was that too many people started complaining and caused a backlash. ;)

WOW! Stunning, the northern lights

Tempted to get skyrim just for that now lol. I could just sit in game and stare at that for hours :D

The reflection onto the ground is fantastic too.

Not only that there are loads of HD texture mods, and mods that completely redo the characters and hair.

Modded Skyrim is a gorgeous game - I have dozens of mods on my install.

If I were you I would give it a try before buying the Witcher3. By then hopefully performance will improve and their might be some more graphical mods available.

I already have the witcher 3 :p But yeah I am holding out for the next big patch and/or mods before I really sink serious time into it, game is running pretty well for me but there is still micro stutter every now and then despite FPS being 50+, hopefully updates for the game or/and drivers will fix it but I doubt it as every gameworks game has some stutter on my pc :(

The only thing about modding skyrim, is it not a right pita to do? I hate faff :p

Modding is easy. Just use NMM and you are sorted. You just to sometimes load the mods in correct order and thats about it.

Weird thing is, they did. That was the 360/PS3 version. It actually looked way worse because Cry3 was the only way to even get it to run on those consoles. But with DirectX11 performance should be better on PC.

Plus an entire level was missing, the one where you're flying a vtol, was pish anyway.
