CPU Cooling Help

Im going to buy an Intel i7 Sandybridge 3.4GHz (gna overclock)

Was thinking of getting the Noctua NH-D14 or the Coolermaster V8

My case is going to be the HAF X so it can fit any cooler.

Any other cheaper/better options?

If you're getting a big cooler then use low profile RAM. No fancy heat spreaders.

What are you using the PC for?

An i5 2500K is sufficient for most uses such as gaming.

An i7 2600K is better for things like video encoding.

Im going to be using this PC for both video editing and gaming, that is why im getting the i7. I'll be getting the Corsair XMS3 8gb that is quite low. Saw some reviews on the Thermalright and Im gna get that

sadly for me,when i bought Sandy,there was no Silver Arrow,so now have Akasa Venom..not sure how much better Silver will be over Venom,but i guess more than few degrees..But i just like Thermalright products,use them a lot in the past and they were brilliant..
Gonna put few things on sale in MM after i get those bloody 200posts lol
