I could cry... I just changed the cpu fan back to monitor in the BIOS and its given me the DRAM issue again...

Leave the cpu fan monitor as OFF :) With it being an AIO pump being plugged into the cpu header it wont report correctly. I can't boot into windows either if i have mine turned on to monitor :)

It's quite normal behaviour.

Memory should be a simple matter of going into bios at startup (you'll see a message before windows starts that tells you what button to press), then finding the enable XMP option and selecting it, then save and exit.

Take out all the ram and just put one stick back in for know, see if it boots.

Are you all sorted now?
Still having issues however now I'm thinking it could be software based as any update i.e. Windows needing to reset after an update or a change in the bios and it just doesn't boot DRAM light goes orange all the fans start spinning. I have to press and hold the power button to turn it off but it seems to boot after doing that. I'm afraid to do any updates that require a restart and I dare not change anything in the bios. My ethernet connection is also saying unidentified network and I cant connect to the Internet through it, I'm having to tether with my phone.

Are you using one for stick of ram ?

Just use one stick of ram then boot into windows , restart your computer and see if the you get the dram orange light.

Report back.

Im guessing you can't post .

If you done the above and don't get the orange dram light then it looks like you either have faulty ram stick or some Instabilty.

There are a few options.

Check the cpu cooler is not to right as mentioned before.

Download memtest and test each stick of ram for errors.

Update the motherboard bios to the latest version, this can solve problems with memory and other things but it comes with risks.

Right so little update micky booted fine with one stick of ram cant seem to make it fail. Booted fine with two sticks cant seem to get that to fail either, each time I'm restarting from desktop and entering bios changing cpu fan speed to monitor and ignore much like the times I did when it failed. Going to try a 3rd stick now. I loosened the cpu cooler also but didn't seem overly tight as it is. My cpu temp is idling at 47ish is that ok for a 3800xt?

Edit: I did a benchmark and it seems as though my RAM speeds are not registering?
