CPU limited?

Just a quick question,

Going by my sig, what is most likely to be a limiting factor on my fps? I currently have very good performance but wondered if perhaps my CPU would limit FPS in the future?

It depends what games you're playing I think.

Not overclocking at the moment as no games I've used have had any slowdown on full details. The main reason I was curious was because the performance I have at the moment is so good and I wondered if I would visibly notice a further improvement by upgrading the CPU.

Yep, I'd say so. If you're running maxed out and don't get any slowdown, there's nothing more you can do, short of buying a big monitor and pumping the res right up. Talking of intensive games though - have you tried running the more graphically intense games on it? Oblivion springs to mind, but it's not in everyone's taste. I believe F.E.A.R. pushes systems pretty hard too.

But yeah. If you're running maxed out on the games you like, there's not really any point in upgrading I suppose! I'd very much doubt you'd notice any difference with a faster processor unless you ran some benchmark comparisions and suchlike.
