cpu upgrade question

true but in stalker/cs and farcry2 if i turn on aa at 2x or more i get stutter/pauses , tried everything to get rid of it . even lowered the res but nothing worked , stange thing is i can run crysis warhead at 1680x1050 at gamer settings with 2x aa and it averages 40-50 fps . something has to be wrong with my system , could it be my os as it's the 32bit home basic version ? . tbh the mobo is not that good tbh

What you been doing? switching the CPU-multi up and down and switching vCore up and down?

I've only been on AM3 for a few weeks so my knowledge is limited but I'm sure you can get a better result, something is holding you back?

Have you done much overclocking before?

Have you reset your memory back to DDR2-800 speeds instead of DDR2-1066? . . . I noticed all my results went down a fair bit when I manually changed the default memory setting like you did? . . I have the same memory as you too. It's now running back at DDR2-1066 speeds even though it is set at DDR2-800 in the BIOS, this is because I have managed to get the HT ref. up to 266MHz . . .

What have you done with the drivers? is this your first crossfire setup? I think it will be worth giving it one last big push before you shell out loads of cash, don't give up just yet, hopefully someone with similar kit as yours who plays similar games will come along and shed some light on the situation!

going to get some better case fans first , the one i got from ocuk a few moths ago has already making strange noises lol . no been overclocking a few years on and off , this is the newest setup i have had and not managed to get it running as i want it tbh . memory is at 1062 i think , soon as i go to raise the multi now than the fsb is overclocked i get weird colours on the task bar
