Rob43 said:It means the normal running voltage for the cpu is 1.325v,but you have yours running at 1.45v
Are you overclcoked it take it ? Just with you using 1.45v
Yoy have an E6600 & a DS3 if i remember correctly mate ?

You sure you need 1.45v for 2.8Ghz though ?
Rob43 said:I would be trying 1.35v ,you may even get away with less![]()
Rob43 said:No,it won't do any damage @1.45v,but you may not need that much, less will obviously lower temps as well![]()
Rob43 said:Yep,your memory is running @ 620Mhz just now.Default will be 333Mhz. Have you tried 333Mhz x9 ? Leave your memory@1:1.
It's all down to trial & error mate,as far as how much voltage it needs
Whats your cooling ? Temps etc ?

If all is ok,stable etc.I would'nt worry too much.Although, like you done with the cpu volts, you could lower it & see how you get on.Since it was a bios issue & not the ram volts like we originally thought, you can probably lower the Vdimm,no real point in using extra volts unless you really have to
Are you stopping your overclock @3Ghz ,or going for more, you should be able to get a bit more yetUnless your happy with it now of course
What about 350x9 now ? You may need extra volts through the ram for that though, but it's been running with 2.1v anyway ,with no probs
Remember, once the overclocking bug gets you, you've had it.There's no going back![]()
