CPU WC Rad

Ok :)

looking clean already! Ill give it a bit longer though

Don't see how it got so dirty from water running through it in the first place lol

Probably wasn't distilled and so may have built up limescale. Have you checked the rest of the components to check that they're ok?

Well its only the block and the rad :P and their fine!

Update 1: Its cleaner - was on for 2 hours so, water was dripping down the side though. Ill tighten everything up and just do another run later like this to see what happens. was only on one side of the pump (next to power cable)

Update 2: Changed the tube to rinse it out with, also made sure it was really tight. Put a bit to much water in again i think meaning its just rather noisy and sort of 'wavy' at the top of the pump. So far no water has dripped down from the sides. Though at the top i will have to tighten the black cap tightly i think as there is a little bit of water floading over it! Probably because theres to much water in the pump itself?
Pump cleaning video recorded it while it had the vin in as well

Excellent! Looking good. Let us know how it goes! Plus, if you have any questions with putting it together just ask!
Received today and grr

Im obviously not thinking straight or i've ordered wrong parts.

The tubing won't even stay onto the left part of the barbs i've bought

(left) I don't see how any tubing would..?

Though the tubing with some force fits great onto the fittings on the pump and cpu block.

The angled rotatable fittings fit into the rad but the G1/4 thread part is rather short they can't tighten up (is that how its meant to be?)

Really? Those should fit together snugly! I did pretty much the same thing for a friend a few months back! (although from another retailer). Have you tried measuring the thickness of the barb to make sure it is in-fact 1/2"?

Well the way i thought they go on is like - so the tubing just goes onto the end of the 90degree thing though ofc it can't

Does the fitting you have really look like that picture? Does the threaded bit not also have a metal ring with an 'o' ring on it?

As far as the barb end goes, sounds like they've sent you 3/8" fittings instead of 1/2".

edit: posted b4 pic.

Need a better pic of the barb end.

I've gotta say. From that photo it looks fine to me! If you really can't get it on, try heating up some distilled water and then place the end of the tube in it to warm it up. This will make the tube a bit softer and you should be able to mold it over the barb for a very tight seal!
Don't over heat it though, we don't want the tube to deform!

Again this post could really make me look like a fool!

The fitting does have a metal ring on it
Sorry im not very good at photo's and my phone isn't any good at photos really and only other camera i've got is this sony bloggy!

Bubo is seemingly correct I'm afraid. Sorry, I thought you meant the barbs were too big! They've sent you 3/8" barbs which are obviously not going to work with too big tubing. You're going to have to get it swapped!
EDIT: FYI, if it was a 1/2" fitting it would say 12/13mm not 10mm.

Hehe yer, no point paying £1 more for gold ones! Ill ring them up now.
At least now also i have a free shipping when i buy items so :)

Nearly costing me as much for this call as it is for the item haha, well no ;)
Been on for 20minutes though at least

EDIT: Ok. Current ones been refunded. Ordered the ones linked in previous post!
ty for help again ;)

Ok the 1/2 fittings came today. Fit perfectly, will be setting it up within the next week or two.

Don't want to mess around with it just yet.

Nah thats stuffs to expensive for using to clean, just go to halfords and get some di-ionized water, usually branded carplan, and use that to do the cleaning with.

I use deionized water for my water cooling combined with a couple of drops of PT nuke.
