Hmm I have two sets of unmatched sticks in my rig so these would make an ideal replacement... Kingston are a solid brand too, I remember their BH-5, it was among the best...

Yes - you'll get double the effective RAM bandwidth by using a dual channel kit (128Bit bus rather than 64) and the Kingston has tighter (faster) timings

Filling all for slots on any board usually stresses the NB chipset more. This is usually easily remeied by a small NV voltage increase.

MooMooMoo (a few posts up) has 8Gb running fine:

aaaaah boo i checked cpu z and they wasnt actually running at 1280mhz

Will try overclocking them tonight when i have more time to fiddle and test properly.

anyways heres screenshot of the spd u asked for and a few other things



still think its good 1066mhz or so @2.1 volts and 8gb. Compaired to my old ram which wouldnt even boot at 4gb.

Its Kingston mate...it would probably work fine if you plugged it into a potato

But yes, works fine in that board - we tested in a random selection of boards when it arrived from Kingston and worked perfectly in all.

Sometimes that kind of in house testing causes problems when our ninja technicians clock it higher than all our customers and a revolt starts lol. I think its far better for people who bought it to share, except with review samples like the Dominator GT of course

We did abuse it heavily for a few hours with no problems and we've sold literally hundreds and not had a single set back.
