Crap Fuel Consumption

out of my 2ltr Calibra and 60 ltrs or fast A road and town with a heavy right foot I got 250miles from a tank

In the M3 I can get 34mpg in 6th between 60 and 70, 18-22 combined normal driving or 7.2 mpg hitting peak bhp in every gear ;)

200 miles from 45 litres (measuring what you put in is the most accurate way) isnt bad at all
 
The last time I checked (by running the car to practially empty & filling up) I was getting approx 27MPG which I'm well happy with.

510 Miles,mixed driving, 85 Litre (!) Fuel tank.

Well I don't just do the same trip in my car and go no-where else. That's why I didn't specify lol.

Its always under 10 miles but I do go further occasionally.
 
I also have a megane 2.0, and if I believe the trip computer I get roughly 30mpg.. A tank will see me well over 200 miles, and I don't exactly drive like a granny either..

Also, you said they get 380 miles per tank rather than for how much fuel. So you dont know if they are putting >£50 in etc. My car has a dicky fuel guage where it looks empty at about 45l where its supposed to be a 60l tank.

you have a 306? my cab does this, looks completly empty at 40 litres and you are clenching ya butt cheeks to the petrol station but has a capacity of 56 litres. Still not had the nerve to push it.
