This has probaly been viewed before and I appologise if it is a re-post however I don't think you can ever be 'too aware' in regards to road safety.

Having just brought my first reasonably powerful car this has deffinatley given me a kick up the arse in regards to the impact of stupid driving on others.

Hopefully it's a bit of an insight into the horror of injuring or killing an innocent civillian/motorist because of dangerous driving.

Please watch, even if it only manages to save one life or just make you re-think when and where you decide to drive 'spiritedly'.

(Some of these you may well have seen before, however there was plenty that I haven't including real footage)

Have you popped into Motors to lecture us nasty drivers or something?

Not at all, merely to try and raise road safety/awareness. Hopefully you don't have a problem with this?

I travel at 30 everywhere so everything is safe!

Although i hit children on purpose, it is under 30 so all is good!

Seriously dude.

Half of it is "what if?" and make believe, Quarter I recognise as being police chase vids then just some footage of accidents. Like the lorry driver who crosses to opposite carriageway what's that meant to teach me? To worry about an accident on opposite carriageway happening?

No effect at all sorry. :(

I made it to about 4 mins 40 seconds. At that point i was crying so much I couldnt see anyway. Very powerful film that took all the 'man' right out of me.

:(

Is this really upsetting your Wednesday evening? I'm sure it wouldn't harm to watch it and think of the consequences next time you decide to make a move that could be potentially fatal

There's still a 20% chance that little girl will die you know, I'd travel at 20 just to make sure ;)

Fair enough if your intentions were good, but these thread rarely go down well.

The overly emo music and overacted, hollywood tosh video clips usually have the opposite effect that the creators were trying to create.

That video could just as easily be titled 'World's most amazing crashes' and given a drum and bass soundtrack and have a totally different effect on people :/

That one with the guy getting ejected from the car after it rolled over several lanes...then he gets run over.

Not at all. I don't disagree that parts of it are not relevant however there is plenty of footage which I'm sure is.

I've not set out with the hope to make every individual re-think the way they drive. However I accept there will be people that the video has no affect on what so ever.

Either way thank you for at least taking the time to watch it unlike others who were too busy immediatley flaming to take the time to watch.

Well I've learnt not to stop in traffic queues, given that car which was crushed between two trucks had nowhere else to go!

What am I supposed to do after seeing that tunnel crash?

Or the tram crash? Is that saying don't travel on European trams?

The biggest message, worryingly, seemed to be dont drive a car because if a truck decides to flatten you there isnt much you can do

What about all the pedestrians getting mown down? Don't wanna be one of them either, that's also clearly unsafe.

I didn't see any cyclists die, perhaps that's the best option?

Most of the serious crashes seem to involve cars from the early 90's.

I think its telling us to buy modern cars?
