Hey There, Wonding If Anyone Can Help ME!

My Rig..

500W PSU
Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H MoBo
AMD 6 Core 1090T Processor
1TB Sata3 HD
8GB (4x2GB) OCZ Special Ops 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 1.65v Ram
Inno3D GTX 260 Graphics

Everything Was Running Fine, Until I Installed An Extra 4gb Of My Ram, Then Suddenly Programmes Started Crashing, My Mate Said It Could Be Your Bios Settings And I Found That The Ram Voltage Is At 1.5v And The Timings Are Set To 9-9-9-30, So I Tried Setting It To The Ram Timings It Is Supposed To Run At, And Then Suddenly I'm Getting Physical Memory Dump Blue Screen, Suddenly My Windows Isn't Genuine And All Sorts Of Programme Crashes! My Mate Said It Could Be That You Need Another PSU, Any Idea's.. Anyone?!.. Please! :(

Cheers!

The voltage for all sticks of RAM should be at 1.65V.
If you could run CPU-Z and take a good look in there. Timings are not so important ATM, however reducing them could lead to instability and BSOD.

This could be very well down to your PSU. How long have you had it and what's its make and model. It may not actually be producing anywhere near 500W.
If you can also, download and run Memtest. This will test every stick of your memory to see if any are faulty.

sometimes mother bored DIM slots are not fully funtional, and can cuase instability.

windowns not being genuine i think maybe becouse u "changed your hardware" by adding the additional memory, tho im not entierly to sure this is the reson.

The Power Supply Is A HighPower 500w From PC World, Ooooh!! More Help PLEASE! :D Lol.. My Board Needs A 8Pin +12v Connector, At A Price Range Of £60-£100 Max.. What PSU Should I Get? I Want One That's Gonna Really Overclock And Also Power My Soon To Be Purchased GTX580, Was Going To Do Dual SLI But One Of My PCI Is Only 4x So Might Just Keep My GTX260 For PhysX

Grammar, spelling, where to start?

Ok Did The Memtest And I Found Errors, Reset My Bios And Seems Stable.. But It's Only Running At 1333mhz At 1.5v.. Even When I Had It OC'd In CPU-Z It Showed It Running At 1.5v! I Dont Get It.. It Is VRAM That I Have To Increase The Voltage To Aint It?

Lol Oh Wise One.. STOP COMMENTING ON GRAMMATICAL ERRORS And HELP ME!!.. Please! :)

If your memory is all of the same type as you stated:

8GB (4x2GB) OCZ Special Ops 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 1.65v Ram

then just increase the RAM voltage to 1.65V in the BIOS.

PS

VRAM is on your graphics card and has nothing to do with your system RAM.

PPS

Look at page 39 of your user manual.

Go into the BIOS.

Change "System Voltage Control" from Auto to Manual.

Then change "DRAM Voltage Control" from Auto to Manual.

Change DRAM voltage to 1.65V, save and exit.

Make sure all timings are dialed in to exactly whats needed, and make sure the RAM voltage is correct. Then try the memtest again, to make sure the ram themselves aren't causng errors.

Errors from Memtest indicate a problem.

Increase the voltages of all memory (DRAM not VRAM) to 1.65V using the BIOS, there should be settings in there somewhere.

This should automatically increase the DRAM Frequency from 1333MHz to 1600MHz, they are most likely running this low due to the low voltage being supplied (unless this is stock, i.e. FSB also 1333MHz)

Run MemTest again and if you still encounter errors, do a process of elminiation, removing 1 stick of RAM at a time and running MemTest, this will find the 'faulty' stick, if it is infact faulty.

What errors are Memtest actually giving you?

If Memtest found errors, at least one of your new sticks of RAM is probably faulty. Try running Memtest with only one stick of RAM installed. Keep trying this with each stick in turn till you find the faulty one.

Oh and please stop using a capital letter for every word, it's hurting my head ;)

Right So Here I Am At 2.35am.. ******* Annoyed!!
Dont Understand What's Going ON.
I've Got Memtest86.v4.
I Put The Bios To Factory And Ran It..
Failed At 30%.. (When I Say This.. I Mean.. Loads And Loads Of Fails)
I Upped The Ram Voltage To 1.65v And Kept The Other Settings As Auto.. (1333mhz @ 9-9-9-30)
Failed At 30%..
I Changed The Speed To (1600mhz)
Failed At 30%
I Changed The Timings To 8-8-8-30
Failed At 30%
Clocked Down To 1.5v Running at 1070mhz At Standard Timings..
Failed At 30%..

But Honestly Doubt That The Ram Is Bad.. I Mean I Havn't OverClocked Them Past What They're Recommended.. Constantly Been Under-run!

I Just Don't Understand..

Could It Be That The PSU Isn't Powerful Enough?
Could It Be That I'm Forgetting To Do Something Else In The Bios?

Or Could It Be That Either Ram Or Mobo Is Faulty?

Thanks For All The Help So Far.. Please Help More Though! :(

Please fully star swearwords

Right, you need to memtest the ram 1 stick at a time. If they all pass, do them in pairs.

The fact that all 4 slots are populated presents a slight issue as it places more strain on the controllers. Usually a voltage bump sorts it, but best to rule out the ram first!

Of course, using less volage than required will cause the PC to crash. Tightening the timings (reducing the numbers) will cause the PC to crash.

Oh Forgot To Add..
Tried Each Stick Individually..
Failed At 30%.. With Each Stick!..

What Errors Am I Getting?..
The Bottom Part Just Goes Red With Loads Of Running Errors! Doesn't Stop!

And that is at the recommended data thats on the stick itself (1.65v apparently?) And all other voltages set to Auto? Sometimes it is worth removing BIOS battery, resrtting BIOS, leaving it a few minutes and then putting battery back in (All with the power cable disconnected from the wall). Sometimes clears chips in a special way . . . .

Also, Load Optimised Settings in the BIOS. then restart and re-set the RAM manually. Might help!

Also, have you tried a failed stick in a different slot and re-ran memtest? Could be that particular slot.
