** CRAZY NVIDIA PRICES - LOWEST IN THE UK! **

Exactly what it says, you are getting just the card, no drivers, accessories, retail packaging, just the bare card in plain brown box.

Thats how these prices are possible, as these are like new, hence the 1yr warranty.
ah thanks, i figured it would be that but i just wanted to make sure :)

What does it mean 'refurbished' and 'as brand new'. I know they come without any accessories or box, but what does it mean about the card itself?

Pretty sure it means that they've been sent back as 'Not working' but have past tests and are confirmed to be working as if they've just been taken out of the box. You only get the card, no retail box, no cables, no adapters etc.

Card has been re-manufactured / rebuit too as new. The only possible defects is the odd mark on the cooler. They perform and function as a new card would and are guaranteed to do so for 1yr. :)

They're no more likely to break after one year than any other card though, right?

Excellent deals here, if like you me you just chuck the box away, download the latest drivers anyway. Don't need or use half the stuff that comes with them these days

Some people say refurbished products are actually more reliable because they have to go through stringent testing before being sold rather than standard stuff which just rolls off the production line.

How much would the cables set me back for the GeForce 9600 would else would I need for it?

The only cable you may need is a power cable if your PSU doesnt have the right connector.

£3.50:

Awesome prices btw. That 570 looks very tasty.

9800 GTX+ for £71.99, what new card for similar money comes close to its gaming performance?

I picked up 3 x 1GB Nvidia 250GTS refurbs for £55, so a 512MB version of what is basically the same card makes £72 looks a bit pricey to me. ~£17 more gets you a 768MB GTX 460, which looks better value.

As said before though, ideal card for overclocking since you void the warranty with a waterblock anyway. I'd probably have bought one when I got my GTX480 that I plan to watercool. Still, only paid £225 for that one new (from Overclocker).

Gotta say I'm tempted to ditch my GTX570 SLI and pick up a couple of 580s. Would I notice much of a performance boost going from 570 SLI to 580 SLI (@ 1920 * 1200)?
