I saw this deal go up before I left work. Knew the thread wouldn't be pretty :D

Yeah, there's a fine line between promoting a deal (and while £5 off isn't a huge amount, it's better than nothing!) and making it sound more than it is.

I think it's pretty unanimous that people were expecting more than £5 by the wording of the thread. I think this thread would be a lot more friendly had the title been a bit less... overzealous.
 
This is a hostile marketplace, a good deal is a good deal, epic/amazing it has to be to avoid all this!

Many on here await the great offers, we are informed and need it to be as advertised, I know you are new and I welcome you to a difficult market place :)

If it was easy we would all be doing it, not watching and commentating!
 
I wouldn't even call it a deal, it implies the wrong thing, what with being able to get it for less elsewhere as others have pointed out numerous times.
 
This could be one of those rare occasions where the fellas here get it a little wrong, perhaps we're spoiled by the previous "crazy" deals (That are actually crazy)
