following on from this thread: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17737983 where there is much 2012 logo bashing I thought it would be good to see what the OCUK'ers could come up with in a couple of days that is infinitely better than this:

Which is the official logo.

Lets face it shouldnt be hard.

Edit: You can also send your pic to the BBC as alternative the official logo:

"We offer the world the same exciting message that in 2012 every athlete and every visitor will feel at home in our city."

Thats awful! I thought you had made it there, and i was like, yeah not bad effort, but thats all a team of graphic designers geting paid tons can come up with?
 
I guarantee you the designer who made it knows it looks like crap, however this would be a very expensive project. They'll let the client ship it looking like that as long as they get their cheque and the client is happy.

Not something you would really want on your Portfolio though is it?

OOooeee I like that one :D

Tbh they are all better than the actual one, including the skips one :)

More of an image rather than a logo, very nice though.
