If I haven't responded with results by Sunday/Monday feel free to bump the thread (so I get an email). Deadline for this project is Friday so I doubt I'll be getting much sleep (Seriously, never try Wasteland mod for Arma 2 : OA!!!) till Friday night.

Haha big mistake, during Christmas holidays I could sit on Wasteland for an 8 hour shift and not even realise it :)

Going to try these now! They look brilliant, I'm hoping the software can handle several rows of screenshots as well as them side by side!

It's been on this screen for a while...

haha what settings u use and how many screenshots ? i normally use 10-12

looks like you missed one ;) not in order

also how are you capturing the screen shot ?

Yeah, been looking for a guide, that was 6 screenies, and yeah guess something not right. Tried it on PS too but not had any luck on that, which caught me by surprise as I've used it successfully for actual photos.

Larger size.

Edit: <3 Devon. Also, they were captured with fraps, since Arma 2 doesn't appear to have a built in screenshot function, saving the shots as PNG which I find is usually an effectively lossless format.

Could you run me through your process? Can't seem to get any working result. Do you manually align all your images? I've been trying that but it won't let me fit them all in and that's with 9 images only!

sometimes ive done it myself with large groups of pics you miss one or one gets stitched wrong but when its done right the results are awesome

Aye, yours looked superb! Have you got any idea about the IQ loss here :

This is the actual screenshot, in the merged one though the quality has gone AWOL..

Gigantic one. Much better result now but I need to find away of getting rid of the automatic exposure change happening so fast.

Update time, for those of you interested in how this would turn out.

Current stage - WIP.

Image is made of 28 screenshots taken at a custom resolution of 3264x2040. Border-less image is (due to overlaying) 9940x3430 - with border it is 10540x4030 (1 Inch black border).

It's about half done in terms of 'fixing' the merging of the screenshots; all were manually aligned and then combined in Hugin.

6:41 am. Still working. :D Listening to this to keep me awake! That and pro plus.

Edit: This upload was done at 20% of maximum size.

Edit 2: It's by Tulga, FYI.

Turning Post Processing FX down to low or disabled should help with the change in lighting. Turning HDR off should help too but obviously IQ will suffer.
