Credit cards. How do you pay yours?

I used to pay my credit card off every month but Barclaycard kindly closed my account, guess they weren't making any money from me.

I keep a minimal balance on my Orange CC now, (12 month interest free purchases), just in case my car explodes or something and I need funds quickly.

I've owed Barclaycard 7p for well over a year. I can't pay it off (below the minimum payment) & they don't charge me any interest on it either.

Yet I still get a statement from them through the post every month saying I owe them 7p with a minimum payment of £0. Wonder how much I've cost them over the past year or so :D

i use my CC to pay for my train fair, then end of the month it gets paid off in full, just as a way of keeping my credit score in check....atleast i hope it improves/helps me :P

I dont tend to have much on my credit card, about £127, I usually pay off as much as I can, however this month I can only stick around £90 back on it, ill pay off the other £40 next month.

I pay by DD online for things I've bought that week.

For things like car insurance, I spread over say 6 months and work out how much I need to pay for all of these things and pay them as soon as my wages come in.

Once the free period is over, I make sure I'm at zero before this and take out a new card

I just decide what I feel like paying and pay that, usually between 20-60. That usually pays of about 80% of whatever I owe, i'll usually carry a small amount on it to the next month but the interest is only pennies.

I'm making the minimum payment at the moment but when I can afford more then I just add more to it. Best way for me at the minute as through stupidity when younger I'm paying other debts off on monthly plans as well.

I'm getting better this year in regards to sorting things out but it'll be 2013/14 before I'm on my feet again without any debt.

Normally try and pay around £100

lots of expenses at the moment tho so thats dropped to £50 atm until I get everything needed to set new house up then it's onto a 0% balance transfer card and paid off ASAP

I don't bother paying off in full on my current CC, seeing as the rate of interest is something around 0.5% APR. Some of the cheapest borrowing I will have in my life, so I just pay off roughly £100 p/m.

On some of these cards out there though, I think I saw an ad for a Sainsbury's Nectar card that had an APR of ~20%? For that, I can't see why somebody wouldn't just opt for a charge card instead, seems much simpler.
