This opening partnership is absolutely rubbish, me and the dog can probably get a good 50 tbh.

again england are struggling early on...looks like a collingwood steady special will save us again probably
 
Well one of the openers is definitely going to get dropped now and I doubt they'll drop butter wouldnt melt in his mouth Michael Vaughan, so bye bye Edmund and in comes Strauss.
 
So we need Collingwood, Flintoff, Bopara and Nixon to make 110 runs. They should be able to do it. I'd back them to do it.
 
once KP gets out everyone else seems to panic. Is it just my poor memory or has freddie been caught at long on for like his last ten dismissals?? This kind of rubbish performance is enough to make me stop being a cricket fan and will follow something else. Complete shambles the whole thing.
 
Not really into Cricket but know a bit, anyway; Why play Bopara over Strauss if there not going to bowl him? Surely Strauss is better with the bat.

Thats exactly the problem. Back in the CB series we had Mal Loye starting us off and while he didnt get many runs, he always got us off to a quick start which set the tone for the rest of the batsmen. Vaughan and Joyce neither get many runs or get them very quickly, I would much rather see Loye and Strauss open than the current two.

We could still win this game although it looks unlikely.
 
Need 71 from 48. Hard to call from here, its still wide open really. Bopara or Nixon will have to stay there til the end now I reckon, if England win this one.
