Any news of lower capacity OS drives of these coming out? 128gb for £300 ish is too much for me to cough up. Tempted this weekend by the X-25m 80gb, but if new shiney stuff is round the corner i could just wait, but as i said need the lower capacity

maybe you should have a look at this review another person posted in another thread, 50GB is more than enough for me but where to buy one of these HD is the real question.

just orderd the 128gb c300 but im disapointed to see the massive reduction in write speed compared to the 256, specially when price tags so high

Yep its annoying isn't it?, I only really want 128Gb but am now considering the 256gb but over £500 is a bit much really..

128GB works out at £2.578 per GB
256GB works out at £2.070 per GB

More space for less is a fairly compelling arguement.

Maybe in a year buy another three for 1TB of space at 1.2tb read speeds in RAID :cool:
