Crucial M4 Performance issues

Hi Guys,

I just got my first SSD and it looks like I am having some performance issues.

Here is the benches I ran, topped by the fact windows 7 gave my hdd a 5.9 rating.

Something that may not be related but im having a longer post time than I would expect, about a 10 second black screen before windows loads.

Any advice/tips for configuring the ssd ?

Updated windows, fixed the experience rating. Have a tiny increase in the results above. Still think im losing a little performance and the booting up from cold still take a while.

When I boot up it posts, waits at a black screen for 10 secs then begin to loads windows. any thoughts ?
 
Everything looks ok except for your 4K reads & writes for some reason.
Just ran AS SSD and got very similar results apart from~

4K iops Read: 6721 Write: 25566

4K MB/s Read: 26.26 Write: 99.87

You done a fresh windows install from the CD?

I once had a similar thing when I changed a few parts, it was as though windows bootup was searching for something that was no longer installed.
