These are insane value for money!

They are cheaper than the old M500 but faster than the newer, more expensive M550 :eek:

Anandtech says they are as quick if not quicker - same controller, different NAND. Think longevity is meant to be marginally worse but for consumer workloads they are more than good enough (Samsung TLC is the worst in this regard but still plenty for anyone at home)

It is for price/performance!

There are quicker if you are willing to pay more per GB though.

Definitely faster than an M4, especially a 120GB version which won't be as fast as a larger drive (these things get speed through parallelism)
