Helo i want to buy one from these 2 nvmes for gaming which is better in gaming?

also some reviews are saying that the T500 is better from Western Digital WD Black SN850X is it true?/

I would go for the WD Black in a heart beat. As I posted in your other thread, they are my preferred choice. Crucial is decent also mind you.

Would need to look at benchmarks etc to answer that but I can’t see there being much in it performance wise.

You're going to see very, very little difference in gaming between high speed drives, aka Gen 3 - 5, and in most cases even SATA SSD's.

Buy the cheapest of the two, hell unless the 850X is dirt cheap I'd go for something like an SN770 instead. We're seeing a lot of posts lately focused on gen 5 NvME's for some reason for gaming related purposes, very strange.

I had an SN770 which failed within a couple of weeks. I got hold of an SN580, and for my use case both seem the same to me.
Obviously they're not but I'm not doing huge file transfers.

My SATA SSD is faster than my Crucial T700 2TB when booting windows, and the T700 is running correctly, all the benchmarks are as they should be.
So I wouldn't worry about which drive you get for gaming or windows for that matter, just buy whichever is cheapest.

from what i have researched, unless you are constantly moving files between drives or have a job where time = money there isnt any argument to get a gen5. And even when there is an argument its a very small one. Get a reputable gen4 and call it a day - dont be drawn into overspending on storage
