The original crysis cemented by love for pc gaming.
Back in the day it was entirely gpu limited. Now it’s entirely cpu limited, which could also be read as very badly optimised. I’ve got a very decent rig now and it will still go under 60fps in parts.
Landmark game though that still holds up today, especially modded.

ay... i still remember when that scientist(?) talks to you almost all close up how incredible detailed his face was. A very very good looking game indeed.
