Couldn't agree more. It's all well and good for you people out there with money to burn ... your 6 core cpu's your 3 x dual gpu cards etc.
Erm... when Far Cry came out I remember people bitching about performance even with the latest hardware on the market back then.
Most people can't afford to keep upgrading their computers everytime a new Crytek game comes out! I remember when FarCry first came out, it ran dreadfully on my pc, only when I upgraded a couple of years or so later and went back to it, could I play it at a decent frame rate and enjoy its fully beauty.
So do I but I really don't get why make a game that requires such crazy fast hardware that doesn't even exist until years after the game.
It's like buying a PS3 but it can't play blu-ray discs yet. Not an exact like for like but the same thing applies, you can't play it.
Its not going to be in DX11 (although it will be as a patch)... who cares! Gameplay is what im after..... why is COD still using the same old engine... it looks good and runs well, so why bother change it!
I was thinking that. Isn't the whole purpose of buying games is for you to play them? not to have a slideshow then 2 years later you can play it at an acceptable frame rate? I'm not talking about Crysis 2 just their past motto for making games.
Some PC gamers have become complete utter snobs? or as the term from some people... "don't be a graphic whore"
To say you're not going to buy Crysis 2 just because it's not coming out with DX11 is just sad![]()
It would be funnier if on release day you can't login to play online. ¬_¬ Like me!
