Crysis 2 MP Demo on 25th Jan

This game really shows just how old the 360 is getting :( Aliasing everywhere, pop ins and what must be a sub HD resolution unless they are using some sort of blur filter.

Is the MP only available for download on xbox 360?

I find this quite funny. First game was a PC benchmark, now PC owners don't even get a sniff at the second game before 360 owners do... Crazy really. Wonder how many $$'s MS stuffed under the noses for this one?

Would it have hurt MS to release the MP demo to the PC bunch as well, considering MS has some sort of interest in the PC games market..??

Its probably to get more people hooked on the 360 version instead of waiting for pirate copy on the PC.

Game is still going to get pirated like hot cakes on both platforms anyway.

Actually when I said would it have hurt MS to release the demo on the PC, I mean would it have hurt MS to allow a deal that sees the demo on the PC. I know what I meant when I typed it in.. lol

It's nothing special. Feels like your average FPS. Graphics aren't that great either. It's not innovative, fresh or interesting.

I haven't fully looked at the perks or upgrades which could make it a bit more interesting if they're executed right. It just feels like a Modern modern modern modern modern modern warefare though.

I can't say on here the word I'd describe this game as. You think the Call of Duty melee was bad? Wait until you see this in action. :D

Well I guess that's to be expected really. I mean just how much can you change what an FPS looks like graphically on 360 now? Its old tech if you think about it, the graphics for the 360 and FPS must be nearly exhausted so they are going to start getting a bit tired looking..

I guess the main important issue is how does it play and is it smooth etc...!! I must admit, I was never all that keen on Crysis for the PC, sure it looked amazingly good and certainly showed off your new uber expensive gfx card, but that was about it for me...

Not impressed tbh, you can pump 300 bullets into someone and not kill them but punch them from any angle and it seems to be instant kill...

Ah so it isn't just me this was happening to. I was pumping loads into some guy & he just wouldn't go down, One bullet from him & I was dead

I like the sensitivity on the pad though feels pretty good.

It seems matchmaking is throwing us UK'ers in with Americans. I pulled host (well I assumed I did until it migrated and still showed me as full green bars???) as was all green bars and everyone else was 2 bar, voice coms confirmed they were US players and the fact that it was taking 60+ rounds with the LMG to drop anybody and constantly being beaten by the Scar.

The game has not changed much from the beta I played a few months back and they still didn't add any of my suggestions for eg. when I shoot someone I want to hear hit markers not hope that I am shooting them that familiar thud on bullet impact would make a world of difference, especially with the shotgun. Unfortunately it's a fast paced game running at 30FPS which doesn't help at all either. It's still a good game but I was hoping that there would be more improvements in the last 4 months. I am glad they implemented position markers on the map and I don't mean player markers, the markers now pulse when a team player is engaging with the enemy or spots an enemy which is helpful as the spawn is random in this game even from the off you never spawn as a team and could spawn practically on top of an enemy player.

A tip when the game starts go crouch hang on a second and you are guaranteed an enemy run by.

I'm not very impressed, though its probably more to do with learning the best way to play it than anything else, head on with dudes with huge weapons (so to speak) is guaranteed failure!

It also seemed to take an age to actually get into a game!

This is the main problem that I've got with it, it seems to cripple the flow slightly for me.
Oh and some people being able to take a full magazine and walk away. What's that all about?!

Given that I barely like any games these days and the fact I could only stand a few minutes take what I say with a grain of salt.

Seems generic, lazy and flat and I'd put the experience on par with an XBLA download.
