crysis custom cfg

i know this has been asked tons beyond beleif... but i was wondering if anyone knew a decent uploaded one that works brilliantly well as well as giveing some serious eye candy for dx9 (aka all the dx10 unlocks)

i ask because i reinstalled the game today even though ive completed it, im going through it on detal again (which has odly made it much better)

i have an entire CVAR list for crysis and use custom config file (HDR, edge AA, occlusion mapping, etc) you need the command r_MultiGPU=1 in there somewhere cause you have SLI

unsure as i don't have SLI/CF but its the command to tell the engine to render the game using more than one GPU, im still working on my config but that is one HEFTY CVAR list :) might try it out :)
 
atm im at Recovery (2nd stage sort of thing) so its mid day, and the cvar list has made the sun VERY bright and everything bright.

ill get a screenie.

HDR makes everything look bright, makes the light overexposed like really, i mean you can't actually see the sun can you, its too bright, gonna try that config minus DX9 and vsync and of course single GPU, my 8800GTS 512 is here on wednesday though (got watercooling block, gonna overclock its nuts off) :)
 
heh, did see it had vsync there lol, im blind! ill turn that off.

did it give a FPS boost, i like that config, its good one! i reduced sys_budget_videomem=320 since i only have 320mb graphics memory, seems to have improved performance a bit, another thing you might wanna add is r_texturestreaming=0, seems to improve texture quality a little

if i raised that sys_budget_videomem = 320 to 768 due to having gtx's... would it make a difference?

do these get saved to game.cfg ?

never mind i figured it out.

What do you need to do? I cant google it since i'm at work and most sites are blocked but I have the demo here and want to try out some of these configs.
Can someone give me a brief guide please? which config file do I edit?

run>notepad>copy and paste one of our configs>save as>autoexec.cfg

stick that file in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis

when i mean stick it in there, i litteraly mean copy and paste it in there...

run the game and bam its all custom :)

also, ive changed my config slightly to give that little more detail loosing several fps

possibly, i think all sys_budget_videomem does is sets a ceiling for how much VRAM the game uses, its when it uses more that you get stuttering and such, give it a try :)
 
any good D10 configs out there?

what do you want from a config? cause all the CVARs work with DX9 and DX10, just sometimes different values, for example r_HDRlevel=0.8 will work with both 9 and 10, it will enable the use of HDR which seems to be deactivated by default
