Crysis demo delayed

I just realised that the demo was coming with a "big surprise". Because they screwed up on release dates again, they TELL us the freakin surprise ¬_¬ lame coverup..
 
There must be some apocalyptic sh** going down at Crytek for them to announce that they won't be able to release the demo 4 days before it's scheduled to release. How precious are those 4 days, jesus. They don't seem very organised.

On August 27, 2007, Crytek announced a single-player demo will be released on September 25th. The demo will feature the entire first level, Contact, as well as a "huge surprise from Crytek."[7] The huge suprise is that the demo was pushed back a month. Way to go you sons of biotches.

lmao, reminds me of HL2, as bad as http://crysiseu.com pretending to get people to sign up for a key even though they had no chance of giving people who signed up to the forum a key.

I will just wait a few years and upgrade and play this game how its suppose to be played, I will miss out on MP but if the single players is like HL2 I will be happy.
 
Ah well, at least i can still play the multiplayer beta, i got to get my crysis fix somewhere.;) I think this delay is due to the poor performance people are getting in the beta otherwise they could have had the demo out with no problems at all.

well im not gonna be flapping it over this delay, they need to take thier time with this game. its still messed up quite badly in the bugs department. no need to do an EA job on it and rush it out for release then send out a patch 2 days later.

I agree to some extent. To say the beta is one of the latest builds was a tad worrying. I think Crytek realised that they needed to put it back in the oven and hopefully one month should work out. By the time one month passes they will have a totally final build of the game with one months extra optimizing. If they had released the demo on the 25th the build version would be out of date and may have not reflected the final products performance which is critical for a game such high up as Crysis.
 
While i agree that the beta runs like total ass i simply dont see why they announced a demo date when they obviously knew it ran like crap. Id love to know wtf kinda machine or what res\settings all these super smooth videos theyve released ran on.

Announcing a delay a few days beforehand is pretty pathetic, they'd plenty of time to analyse the performance before this.
