agreed... no matter how good the game is, no one will buy it if they cant play it on lower spec machines. overclockers is a unique forum in that a lot of the members overclock or have exceptional machines. however i feel that the survey that valve did on CS:S players showed the true demographic of computer hardware where even my mediocre PC would have been in the top 3%.
 
Not surprised, the beta was laughably bad in terms of performance and bugs.

Dissppointed with that,

I won't be be surprised if the game is delayed as well because its simply didn't look ready to me.

Nooooo, that's annoying. :(

I'll let them off if they do two things, use the extra time to make the final game better and also open up the MP beta to more people and spend some time tweaking that.

Really hope they don't delay the game again though, there's so much coming out between now and the end of the year and I really don't think they an afford to let it slip until next year.

This is what i was thinking. The only source from every other website that posted this news is inCrysis. Im waiting for a direct quote from them themselves or from the Crysis beta forums.
 
well this is good news to me, 1 i cant download it for a while anyway, no net, and 3, i just cant fit in a new game this year, playing lots still, but i got so muchstuff happeneing at the moment until early next year, i will barely touch my pc for more than 3 hours a week.
