Crysis Demo

You all need to lighten up, its only a game, and they did say they want to make sure we get the most amazing experiance possible, so if thats the case, id rather they did delay it than release a crappy demo, as then we'd have everyone kicking off saying its a pile of ******* *****. :)

Right. But Im still failing to see how you were "In tears" over it

I'm playing crysis at the moment, got 7800GTX SLi and got it set to low-mid settings. It puts the machine nearly to its knees. There is so much detail you will miss with a low spec card, or it could just be the drivers.

I'm also playing Frontlines fuel of war, got it on medium settings, getting average 25-30 FPS.

Out of the two I will buy is the latter, crysis kinda sucks, nice eye candy apparently

I can't even get Frontlines to work....it just crashes when I try to join a server. Also it takes about 3 min to detect about 5 servers

I think he's talking in terms of Crytek being very good game developers and Crysis being disappointing. Much like ATi being very good graphics card designers with the R600 being disappointing.

Normally i don't like to, but even i am speculating about how good Crysis will be. I think it all hangs on the A.I for me. Looks great in the millions of videos that practically show the eintire game, but not even one video to show how smart the A.I is?! theres a rabbit away mefinks! and a very large rabbit at that.
