Well we were able to play Crysis at i31 (multiplay LAN event) on someone I can't mention's computers.

Specs of the machines were:
8800GTX
2GB of RAM
Quad Core Extreme (2.66GHz one)

Graphics were set to max, and the machines seemed to cope with it fairly well. Occasionally stuttering but the game was pretty smooth most of the time people played.

Just thought i'd let you guys know on the specs if you don't already :p

No competitors please!

Zefan.

Maybe the stuttering is just loading things from the HD? Oblivion stutters occasionally too because of this. But anyway, nice to see it works nicely on a - high end machine..

mate he was at the ooo momma! section and i31 just cos he was in that section saying he was playing a game on pcs they provide for people to play these games i dont see that as a rule he isnt saying go buy stuff

It's still against the rules, sorry.

I seem to remember Crytek saying 4GB was recommended for full details, and I'd imagine you were playing on full details so as to impress and all that.

I would bloody hope so with those specs

I don't think you can take the specs of those PCs as a true reflection of the game's system requirements. It's more like a showcase of the competitor's top PCs. I'd be more interested on how Crysis performs on a more realistic configuration.

a) A competitor is a competitor regardless of the context.
b) It's better he's told now before a mod picks him up on it.
c) Your post makes very little sense.

Do you know if that was running on Vista @ DX10?
And
Any idea what resolution it was running in?

it was a rushed post, reading it myself im thinking wtf. but my point was fair enough they are a competitor but he was only saying he was at their stall at i31 playing crysis, not as if he was saying for example "they have great offers on .... blah"

why compare it to Oblivion? Should you not compare it to something that is coded well ? Oblivion was very shabby. Popup and stuttering all over the place.

first he will know about it is when hes suspended. So dont know what you mean when you say "before a mod picks him up on it" that assumes he will get the luxury of a warning.
