Crysis MP beta now open to everyone!

What res you playing it at ?

My opty 165 (which is at stock atm!) and my x1900xt 256 are doing an alright job - granted its probably around 30fpsbut its playable for sure ...

I'm running it at 1600 x 1200 too ... everything in advanced settings is on medium btw ...
 
Seems nothing can really get ore than 30 fps.

My setup (heavily overclocked) can muster 30fps with everything on high in 1920x1200.
My flatmate upstairs also only gets 30fps on his 8800gtx and quadcore running in 1680x1020.
 
The 5th batch has been given out - I grabbed mine last night - they woulda gone pretty darn quick methinks ;)

My housemates tried earlier but it says the beta is now closed to newcomers ...

Nah I just saw this thread today, so went to start download and thought the key would be given to me after the process or something

Ive never had to do this before, beta's with getting a key etc..

dont really know about them till now

Would I be right in saying that people can give you their keys so you can have a play for abit ?

I get 30-40+fps with an E6850 @ 3.8Ghz and an 8800GTX (630/2000) with everything on high @ 1680x1050.

I swear with the latest client and the newest nvidia drivers, my FPS have gone down some. They used to average 40-45 and only dip down to 30 when driving a truck through water.
 
Thanks for the heads up, I didnt realise about this till I saw this thread in the morning. There was still keys luckly

I tried fileplanet and torrent and fp seemed to be faster at first with 100k/s but I can came back to find it had stalled after 400meg whereas the torrent faithfully did the job at an average at 50k/s :)
 
opty 165 dc @ 2.7ghz + 2gb ram + x1800xt 512mb

think my pc cried a little with this


at 1680*1050

high = 5-9 fps
medium = 10-22 fps
low = 30 ish fps


1024* 768

high = 5-12 fps
med = 10-24 fps
low 30-50 fps


and it looks oops
on low, on high you get motion blur etc u cant see it in the pics but its REALLY NICE !!!!!!!!!!!

Fear the mighty 7800GT!

Water and textures at high, game effects and shaders at medium with the rest at low, 1680x1050 and I get 20-50 fps which isn't *that* bad.

Similar to me performance wise, might wanna get rid of the sweary :)
 
My X1900XTX keeps cutting out at stock clocks :S

Weird as its never done it before even at stock, I think this game might be pushing my GPU further than ever before.

Looks good for the 5 mins it works for ha ha! :P

3.456Ghz C2D, 2Gb Ballistix, etc


to be fair my "stock" is 709/845 which has been ok for yonks.

Knocked it back to 702/836 and still nowt

Knocked it back again to 690/820 and still poof when it hit 61C lol even at 100%! :eek:
