Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

Played it for a little bit and looks like great fun, running on medium settings @ 1680x1050 and getting 30-40 FPS although it doesn't feel very smooth. Specs [email protected], 2gb ram, 8800gts 640mb.

WTF! I cancelled my Fileplanet sub a month ago yet I just went into the crysis signup page, entered my details and got given a key - I then went to DL the client and am downloading it at 380k/s

LOL WTF! in the "cancelled subscriptions" section of FP members area it shows my cancelled subscription too with no current active subscriptions - methinks it's broken to my advantage

I think it ties the key in with your fileplanet user ID as I tried to get a new key using different registration details but it generated the same key so sorry dude!

You sure it's gone past the next billing date since you cancelled it?

I know you have to do it more than 5 days until your next one or it is still active.

key lasts aslong as the beta is running iirc

None of the devs have stated this to be the case but from what I gather, more phases of the beta will be available so I can't see it stopping any time yet.

i thought it was worth it. It was hours of fun with the crysis beta or a bottle of magners.

I would but my laziness means I havent even tried the bioshock demo yet plus theirs that fortess mod and tons of other stuff and the demo for this is next week anyway, still interested though

ive bitten the bullet and paid for a month. All the games say 'refused connection' when i try and join. Am i missing something?

I just came first in my team on a round of this game, first time I tried using the binoculars and stuff too. I'm seriously getting an addiction to this game and I can't wait for it to come out any longer.

Some people reporting that the authentication servers are down.. not 100% on that though..
