Crysis on the XBOX????

I'm not sure it will be. The PC version was/is still riddled with huge performance issues due to the fact that they had to cater for varying levels of technology. Even on low it still ran like a dog on mid range PCs. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the first console project Crytek have done, so it'll be interesting to see how their development team adapts. Hopefully a sinle set of specifications will make things simpler and result in a solid, great looking game.

I dubt ti will make much differene at all, the fundamental limitations of the console are still apparent.

FarCry on the Xbox was actually VERY well recieved, unfortunately most people only played it on the Xbox where it looked outdated because it was an Xbox game running on the Xbox360.

First-Person games without a twist. It's god Aliens, modern weapons etc...
There are 2 FPS I've really enjoyed this year, The Darkness and Bioshock, both offered something different. Everything else was just similar and all moulded into one.

The market has become saturated with fairly average FPS games, and whilst I've not played through Crysis, what I've seen of it, what I've read of it and what I've heard about it, I'd say it falls into that catagory.

Normally I agreed with you, Im pretty fed up of stale FPS games (part of the reason I just didn't enjoy GoW that much.) I expected very little of Crysis as lets face it, it was hyped to the point of best game ever. However, it really is a very good game, the suit mechanics are fantastic, levels are very varied and you never really get bored. The only let down for me was the very halo 2 like ending.

I didn't give it a chance after loving the pc game. The idea of superpowers and smaller levels didn't appeal at all unfortunately.
