Crysis Warhead Custom Config

hello again, i post what im using so far, work in progress though and the screenshots were 1154*864 (or whatever it is) trying to get the game to look a little less sharp at the moment but no luck, just keeps crashing, by the way i found -devmode in your shortcut and editing the time of day in the console can give spectacular effects in game with HDR, plus you can slow down the rate which time passes, thats current CVARs.

give altering time of day a shot as well using -devmode in .exe, console in game and e_time_of_day=8.0 for example (8am) or something like 6.5 (6:30am) at sunrise

before i forget, avoid using r_TexturesStreaming=0 in warhead, causes serious crashing problems for me

Gashman,Which settings do you use in the garphics menu with this config?

couldn't tell you, ill have a look later and post then, found out how to test all the CVARs in game, using devmode and type them in console you can see what does what, some stuff makes HUGE differences visually

hello i have returned with some new settings and some new screenies, been working exclusively on improving lighting and textures, much darker and more atmospheric than last config. these are taken using DX10 (not DX9) tell me what you think, too bright, too dark? and my god in heaven got blurring in-game (like cutscenes) :D makes nice difference, anyways check them out theres quite a few:

not entirely sure why the second level went so bright and colourful, needs further tweaking

right im back with problems, got HDR, SSAO, etc to work fine in both level 1 and level 2 (light sunny and gloomy, rainy jungle) but the second i went to the ice level, everything was so white i couldn't bear looking at the screen  anyone got any idea how to 'dampen' the HDR + glow effects on snow, i know snow in the real world can blind you (snowblind) but i don't fancy loosing my eyesight to a game :D

whats the command to get rid of all the benchmark info in the top right corner?

ahhh seen it
