This is doing my head in. Just paid for a game that I can't even play. EA are ****ing ****s!
EDIT: Sorted. I had to completely remove my Commodo firewall, then install the game and then once done reinstall the firewall! It wouldn;t work even just turning firewall off!

Hello guys. Have any of you downloaded this from direct2drive in the UK? I have paid for it, it takes me to the download screen. When I try to download it says "Acess denied" you dont access to these files, please purchase the game!
What the hell is happening. Is there a customer support phone number for direct2drive? I am getting really annoyed now. There is a bot email responder that just comes back with crappy messages. I can't believe an IGN run operation would be so rubbish.

downloaded via steam, installed ok
now when i go into the main screen, after about 5 secs the screen freezes and breaksup and nothing happens
tried other games to see if its a gfx issue but all is ok

I played a bit of it whilst wars was at 21% downloaded
cheers for that, it appears to be finished and working this morning
Just finished warhead, it's pretty small compared to the original, quite a number of graphical issues as well, like tons of shiny little dots on certain trees (bit like artefacts on certain big trees) All in all the though the game plays and feels a lot smoother than the original.
think i'll pop down town in a bit and pick this up. i haven't even played crysis yet so hopefully i should be very impressed.
for ****s sake.... just been out and got it but my dvd drive isn't picking up the disk properly. although windows recognises it and i was able to start the install, the disk isn't spinning up properly and the install is just hanging. so i cancelled setup thinking my drive has gone kaput but it's fine with other disks.

try in a m8s pc or go down town quickly
a mate with a pc? hehe, no one i know has the slightest interest in pcs.
anyway, crysis averted (pun intended
), i used imgburn to copy the disk to an iso (took ages). i mounted that and installed it. surprisingly it didn't complain and the game starts fine. now to get stuck in. Just played about 30 min of the first level....decent game.
Ran fraps benchmark during the whole time...
system is at:
