To be honest, if you think that the game is that bad, don't buy it, or wait for it to go down in price. Don't try to justify what you know is wrong because the only people who agree are your fellow criminals

I've just seen this for pre-order at £17.99 not as cheap as the poster above but still cheap. I actually avoided buying crysis until it was released at a price point of £17.99. (And no I didn't pirate it I was quite content to wait)

It just wasn't worth paying $24.99-£29.99 for something I knew would be either uly and fast on my machine or pretty and slow. I am glad I waited as I had to play the game at 800x600 with most settings on medium and a couple on high.

If warhead will be faster and I can get it on release at £17.99 am very happy.

Sorry mate but if you want the game then pay. Just cos it has some bugs doesn't give you an excuse to download it. Pretty stupid way of doing things.

I paid, but I think a lot of people didn't because they were put off by the performance. It might be silly, but then a lot of people are, aren't they? :(

Well then why don't we all just steal everything we think isn't worth paying for?! There will never be any justification for stealing other peoples property. Whether you're angry that it doesn't run on your machine or not the guys at crytek have spent years creating a game that makes all others look like tetris on the original gameboy. Its good for the industry it pushes hardware manufactures to make faster components and for consumers to upgrade.

I am looking forward to this, I enjoyed Crysis, regardless of what people say, yes it had some issues and certain thing's I didn't like...But to be perfectly honest, I don't think I've played ANY game, where I've come away and said wow I liked every second of that.

Actually...HL2 was pretty damn close to that for me.

Yep Im actually a bit shocked it made retail this quickly....good news! Although had it been pushed out early? I hope not!
Plus I hope people realise this is a stand alone game and not an expansion as that may impact sales!

Indeed, standalone game :)

And it hasen't been rushed...It was more than likely in development while Crysis was...And it's just been tinkered since the release of Crysis.

I just hope they optimise it a tad more, Crysis ran ok on my system, but a bit more mmpf in places would have been nice.

I'm not gonna get excited about this, I made that mistake about Crysis.

I'll try it, but not getting my hopes up.

I still think it's shocking they won't release more updates to the current game as apparently Crysis Warhead has more optimizations to the engine and runs better.

Its just an alternative look to the original game. Its a different perspective, don't expect anything new and amazing it "could" be considered an expansion but as it is just reflecting on Psycho's story its not even that. Be greatful that a company is taking the time to do this. I know some want a patch for the original but when it comes down to it, what would you rather? A new patch (even though the current patch seems fine (for me)). Or a whole new character to play through.

Some people replay the same game over and over because they enjoy it. I'm in the middle of playing Crysis on a harder setting but If I was asked rather than replay it would you rather replay it as Psycho I would say yes.

Flame me all you want, I couldn't care. I enjoyed it and I didn't buy it for the graphics. (even if the story declined after the Alien ship, it was still pretty fun).

Well, I enjoyed Crysis so much that I think i'll be getting this pre-ordered.

Looks like a hoot, especially with the bigger guns - even more ways to torture poor Korean soldiers :D

Wow... I didn't realise that this was due for release so soon! I loved the original and my only complaint about it was that it ended quite abruptly so I cannot wait to play this.
